NGC and PMG Honor China Aerospace Day 2017 With Special Pedigree

In honor of the second annual China Aerospace Day, NGC and PMG will offer a special pedigree for 2015 Chinese Aerospace coins and notes submitted to NGC Shanghai Business Information Consulting Co., Ltd. (NGC Shanghai), their Chinese affiliate.

All 2015 Chinese Aerospace ¥10 coins and ¥100 banknotes, received on or before May 31, 2017, will be eligible. The coins and notes will be encapsulated with a "Celebrating China Aerospace Day - 2017.4.24" pedigree on the commemorative NGC and PMG labels.

China Aerospace Day was established in 2016 to honor China's principle of "peaceful use of outer space," and as tribute to its aerospace workers' "ambition in striving for innovation." China Aerospace Day is observed every year on April 24th, marking the anniversary the Dongfanghong- 1 satellite launch in 1970, an event that helped establish China as a world leader in space exploration and satellite technology.

To receive the Celebrating China Aerospace Day – 2017.4.24 special pedigree, the submission instructions below must be followed:

• This pedigree is available only for 2015 Chinese Aerospace ¥10 coins and ¥100 banknotes.
• The coins and notes must be received by NGC Shanghai Business Information Consulting Co., Ltd on or before May 31, 2017.
• A special request is required. Please write “China Aerospace Day Pedigree” in bold letters on the NGC or PMG Submission Form. Please do not mix these coins and notes on the same forms as other submissions.
• The default NGC label will be NGC's China Aerospace label, and the default PMG label will be PMG's China Aerospace label (see examples below).
• Select an applicable NGC or PMG grading tier. There is no additional charge for the special pedigree.
• Only raw (not holdered) coins and notes will be accepted. ReHolders will not be accepted for this special pedigree.

Important: Coins and notes with the "Celebrating China Aerospace Day - 2017.4.24" pedigree cannot also be labeled with the EARLY RELEASES or FIRST RELEASES designation. Coins and notes with the China Aerospace Day pedigree will not be listed separately in the NGC Census or PMG Population Report.
